Hey everyone, I am having some trouble with the Phillips DVP642, it seems that it fails to use the "Letter Box" ratio on certain dvd's, and it appears dvd's that were ripped AVI movies that I had converted with WinAvi to DVD and then burned with Nero are unable to comply with the letterbox function of the 642, now they display correctly on my PS2, and PC, so I know they work, I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who can help me get the letterbox function to work with my dvdS?

They are 8x, but I only burn them at 4x.
