Does anyone know how to take the sample words from a photo proof? They are on the middle of the picture and on the side as well.
Welcome to Afterdawn Ekbatman: In the three or four most recent pages of the digital photography forum, there are a couple of rather thorough threads on photo-editing software: http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/138 Try these: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/472965 And particularly this: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/472965
@elbatman ... well, I've done it with using the cloning and/or smudge tools in Photoshop Elements. I'm sure those tools are also available in the free software listed in the links I provided. I've done it, it came out quite nicely and I'm no pro. I'll ask another member to read your question in case there's a better way.
Gerry1 answered your question exactly. Take one sample from an area of similar color, shading and texture, copy it, then paste over the offending proof words. Use the smudging tool to remove any harsh edges or spots. here is a site for tips and tricks using a free editor called GIMP, similar to photoshop, less costly but almost as functional GIMP I hope this helps.
