Hi, guys. I just got PhotoShop CS2 for my birthday=P But I don't know how to use it. The reason I tried it out was because I wanted to add some cool backgrounds on my photos. Like this: You know what I mean? =) Help me please.. Cheers
Here's tutorial for you: http://www.photoshopcafe.com/tutorials/masking/masking.htm Did that solve your problem?
I like this one too: http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/Photoshop/1 but next time, don't say where you got it...the software that is.
Thanks, guys=) I took a look on the links you sent me, and it looked very helpful. I'll try it out later. What did you mean? I didn't get it=P
So, you want to add a background to your photo's, ok, you could extract the photo by going Filter>Layer>Extract, draw around the parts you want to cut out with the tool (zoom right in for best results) and when your done just fill it in with the bucket tool, then click extract, you'll be left with your picture.. Then just copy the layer and paste it onto a new window with the background of your choice already applied.
these nubs dont know what. Eiether use the magic wand, or us the extract feature. For that picture the magic wand will take out the hair so try the extract feature. Alt+Ctrl+X. Big area for hair and little area for clothing. Then just touch it up with the eraser. Heres what i got for an example:
The extract tool will work great, if you don't understand how to use photoshop then follow some of theese tut's here to get grips with it. http://www.good-tutorials.com/ It takes a while to get used to it, its difficult software but when you gain some knoledge on it its quite amazing, good luck! @iParate, Well atleast people are trying to help, trust me you are'nt the most photoshop litterate person on this site, people can double your abbility, DVDBack23 for example, he could probally tripple it so why act so arrogant...
ipirate! Amazing!!! It's just so fusking hard to understand. My english sucks so I don't get what you guys are talking about (Sorry)
So what, He doesnt go around saying "Theese nubs dont know what".... If people try to help why knock them like that man...
Adobe has a HUGE selection of relatively easy to understand guides on how to use its softwae. To access the ones for PhotoShop CS2 do as follows . . . With PhotoShop open just click on the help icon and then the first option should be "PhotoShop" help click that and a new window should appear and one of the options should be "Tutorials". Now there isnt that many but I remember that their is tons more at Adobes site somewere.
