pick-up heads & chipset

    I am doing a paper on DVD-drive as part of my thesis, require as much help as as possible.

    And am actually about to purchase the LG GSA4082B.

    Anybody could advice in identifying the components, in particular the pick-up heads and chipset, save me some $$ in getting the unit.
