I decrypted a DVD and have it on my harddrive and it is saved as a VOB file on my desktop. How can I use Pinnacle with this file? It won't allow me to open this file? Do I need to convert the file to allow it to burn to a DVD? If so how Thanks

xxnonamex, did you use DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD to your hd?
If yes, did you select all the files or movie-only?

If you selected movie-only (which is the default setting for DVD Decrypter) you will need to create .ifo files. Open ifoEdit (free and downloadable on this site), and choose "Create IFOs". Then go to the folder in which your vob files are saved and click "OK" (or whatever the button says). Once the process is over, open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file with ifoEdit and choose "Get VTS sectors". ;)

But there is actually a much simpler way to rip a DVD in movie-only mode. Use DVD Shrink (also free and downloadable on this site). It is very simple to use, will enable you to crop the beginning and/or end of the movie, and will create all the neccessary files for you to then use with IC7. ;)

You'll need to state what the error is you get.
