    Hi

I don't know if anyone else has identified this problem or if its just my drive but here goes.

Basically my pioneer 106 has been great, burns to + and - R formats with no problems, however... upon trying to read back from the + format i get no response.

The drive recognises the Burnt + disc as a blank.
I thought it only happened when the DVD+R was burnt in DVD-Video mode but have just confirmed it also happens when burnt in Data Mode ie DVD-ROM...

is my drive failing... it should be able to read DVD+R correct ???

My friend has same drive so i'm going to try this on his next week and see if problem persists... in the mean time if anyone knows whats up or has any ideas please let me know.

    Thanks

Have now confirmed that the media works first time in my friends pioneer 106.

My firmware is up to date... i'm using the 1.08 Hacked with no problems till now. I wouldn't buy +R media again, -R has worked every time without fail.

    Anyone an ideas ???

I just purchased myself a new Pioneer 109 and that can access this media without any problems ???

I think My 106 may be on its last legs ???
