i have just flashed my drive with the cracked firmware. when trying to burn a 4x disc, it stays at 4x. i am using datawrite v3 discs which are capable of writing at 8x (according to many sites). i am burning using nero and dvd decrypter. can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong? thanx
If you have flashed with the correct f/w then you should use the Arita (Ritek G04) DVD-R and it WILL then burn at X6 for a while then speed up to X8...
i have a liteon ldw411s.......except for doing an internet search (done this got no results) how would i find out if there is a firmware upgrade for 8x write speed on my drive? cheers guys viper
