    Hi
I have a Pioneer 110d as mentioned in title and bought some Ridisc 52x CD-r diss, When I try to burn some audio discs Nero gets stuck at 4% and the Lead in and then fails after 4 mins. I had 5 coasters trying various different files and then took them back and got a straight replacement. Now the first disc from this pack has done the same! wots wrong? What am I doing wrong? I had no problems with other media.
    Cheers

Maybe you are burning too fast.It happened to me once.Even if the media says 48x if you burn it at that speed you will probably get coasters.Try to get the speed down for now and if it doesnt work post again.

Hi thanks for the reply. Think I've figured it out. I was trying to burn at 10x then at 16x and it always failed. Then I burned at the max stated on Nero of 40x and it worked. I have found out it will burn ay 24x, 32x and 40x no problem.

Well cds are diferent than dvds. You can burn them at a much higher speed and you still have a perfect copy.Just dont burn at the maximum and you should be alright.Usually when you burn a cd it shows the apropriate speed and not the maximum. It does for me.Glad you figured it out.
