Hi there im a wee bit new to this game, is it ok to place my pionner dvd 120 rom drive in the same ide cable as a slave drive with my pionner a06d as the master drive? i'm asking because im having loads of probelms backing up discs, cannot copy "on the Fly" using nero 6 ultra edition, also does anybody know how to convert my hard drive to NTFS currently using FAT 32(im using windows XP pro)

Yes it will work this way as I have it the same way and have no problems.
If you want to copy on the fly, you can better put the DVD-Rom at the Primary IDE bus, slave to the hard disc drive.
I suggest you update the NTFS, I don't know any other way to do that except the to install again WinXP and ask them to convert you disc. (without formatting, just install again)
If someone know a better way, please post, I just don't know any other way as I changed my system when I installed XP.

Ps: Try DiscJuggler for on-the-fly copies.
