I have a new A07, originally bought for a Pentium IV machine, but I'm thinking about installing it in a different machine at home that has only a P-III, 500mhz, 384mb RAM. Anyone out there with experience in this area? I couldn't find any spec information on it. Thanks.

Thanks. I don't know why, I couldn't find that. Pioneer's site didn't seem to have it. Didn't think to google.

If google doesn't have it, you don't need it!

    Pioneer DVR-A07 System Requirements

    DVR-A07 drive requirements:
    Pentium III 500MHz or faster
Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000 or Windows XP
128MB RAM or higher (256MB recommended)
    Available 5.25" drive bay
    IDE controller with available connector

    DVD video disc creation requirements:
Intel 800 MHz Pentium III minimum or equivalent (1 GHz or better recommended)
    256 MB RAM
10 GB free hard disk space (20 GB recommended)
video capture capability (1394 interface or analog video capture card)
1024 x 768 or higher video display adapter

So if u want to backup DVD'z, i dont think a 500mhz would be fast enough...

    Regards
