Pioneer DVR106 vs Sony DWU-10A

    I've narrowed down my choice to these 2 drives but can anyone help me make up my mind? I'm looking to backup data aswell as my DVD collection.

    They both seem like good drives but is one better than the other?

    The Pioneer is a better drive IMHO because it tends to have less problems than the Sony and also it is more a -R writer than the Sony, hence greater compatibility with standalones.
