Hey, I just noticed that my start button's pixel has gotten worst. It's as if there's a glitch or something. This is not like this before. here's a pic: *It used to be very smooth. I mean the letterings are very normal looking. I hope u see that the pixels gone bad. Any solutions?
This can happen if Font Smoothing is disabled. If so, this is how to enable it again. (I wonder if you noticed all the other fonts are now rough looking?) 1. Minimize all windows so you can see the desktop. 2. Right click anywhere on the desktop. A menu will appear. 3. Select "Properties" in this menu. 4. Select the "Appearance" tab in the Display Properties dialog which appears. 5. Click on the "Effects" button at the bottom right. The Effects dialog appears. 6. The check box for “Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts” will be unchecked. Check it. 7. Click OK to dismiss the Effects dialog. 8. Click Apply to see if the font becomes smooth. 9. If it does click OK to dismiss the Display Properties dialog. At step (6) there may be 2 methods in a drop down menu, Standard or Cleartype. Either one will do. Try them out.
