    hi,
Ive been reading on many forums on how to fix my situation. I have a 2.88C Pentium 4 with Hyperthreading with 512mb, 120gb, and a Pioneer DVR-106 Dvd -+ Writer. Ive tried three types of media
    Generic
    Memorex
    Pine
and they have all cause pixelation on my dvd player. So i updated the firmware on my burner and i still have the same problem. I also noticed that with SOME of the dvd's the pixilation will stop if i play them on my Xbox...oppose to my regular dvd player which is a JVC XV-521...any suggestions?

Hi i called JVC to see if i needed a upgrade in the firmware in my DVD-player , and they said NO, and also said that my dvd player doesn't support DVD-R's. So after reading the above link that the MOD posted i found out that i shouldn't have bought cheap DVD-R media and, i went to the store to pick up some MAXELL DVD-R's. The MAXELL's Worked perfectly on my DVD player with no distortion what so ever...Thanks
