I made a backup of a movie and tried playing it back with my ps2 and it wouldnt work. (works on any other DVD) I tried like 5 brands of DVD+R and DVD-R's and none seem to work. The PS2 plays normal DVD movies just fine, and it USE TO play all of my other DVD backups but now it doesnt. Does anyone know whats wrong?

    Thank you!

Yea, I think the lens does need cleaning because I was watching movies just fine on it before. How would I be able to clean the lens?

you could get a CD lens cleaner which is basically a CD with some small brushes underneath that clean the lens as it passes over them, or if you're experienced with your PS2 you can always open it up and manually clean the lens with a q-tip or something

Well, I got the lens cleaner and ran it, but it still wont read Burnt DVD's I used Memorex, Maxell, CompUSA, TDK. None of them work! The PS2 just says DISK READ ERROR... My backup games work just fine though.
