Play back pauses

    I have Windows XP Media Center 2005 with Athlon 64 3500. All of a sudden my playback has a glitch in it. It pauses for a second or two then continues.This happens with both my drives as well as live and recorded tv. Anyone able to help? Thanks

    need a little more info, are you trying to play a dvd,cd,online video, do you have the right codecs?

    This problem happens on everything, dvds.cds. live tv and recorded tv programs. I'm not sure about codecs, however everything was been running fine before. I tried downloading updaates from Amd,microsoft,and ati but no help.

    well if the problems started with the upgrade i would uninstall the up grade and see if that don't fix your problem, my system don't like service pack 2 so i don't have it on mine and everything is great, good luck
