I have been thinking about how fun Earth & Beyond was. It was a great game but was really not an MMORPG. I mean you never really needed to party up with anyone and there were no quests the reaquired groups. It was like a World full of people doing their own thing.

I still have my discs long after EA shut down the servers, and am interested in seeing if there is a way to get it to run without needing to connect to a non-existent server. Is it possible?

Bummer, if there was only a way to just tell the game that my pc was a server or something... oh well. Too bad EA didn't think to alter the code to re-release the game as a single player game.

Many MMORPG's have private (not controlled by game publisher and/or developer) servers. Just google around for player/fan supported servers.
