I was wondering if having a codec pack installed on my PC (K-Lite Code Pack) affects the performance of PowerDVD? I ask because I notice sometimes the video and/or audio tends to skip, espceially if I working on something else (i.e. Internet Explorer) at the same time.

Nah i would just think that would have to do with the availible resources at the time like for instance it takes more resources to play a dvd than it does to play a divx or something!

You are asking a-lot of your PC if you surf the net while watching a DVD as well. It's like asking your dentist to drill a toothe whilst dancing the Congo.
