I just made a backup of a dvd movie. I ran it through dvd decypter, then dvd shrink and found it didn't need any compression. It was 3.99 gig. When i play it back, it looks like shite. It pauses slightly, line disturbance delayed frames etc. It really sucked. My question is; what is the best way to get a decent duplicate these days?
There is no compression used as you have said. If there is a marked difference between the original DVD and the backup, the problem would more than likely be due to poor media quality and/or too high burn speed. Try burn speeds of 4X or 8X max. Cheers.
thanks man I always burn on the slowest speed possible for movies. So it must be the media. No more home brand dvd's for me : )
