Hi, I had a group of ifo/vob files in PAL mode. So I converted them to NTSC using ifoedit. Then burned using DVDsanta or Nero Burning ROM. PLays fine on my PC but when I put it on my stand alone DVD player the picture is way too tall. Side to side picture is fine but from top to bottom it is way out of whack. Way too tall for the screen. So I played around with the sizes using NTSC and even used the lowest 350x480 or something available. No dice. Any suggestions or ideas what I am doing wrong?
4:3 full screen just the norm incidentally I try playing it on dvd-x player and that locks up but plays perfect on wmp got any ideas?
I'm not familiar with converting PAL to NTSC but I imagine its something in that process that is causing your problem. Perhaps someone else can chime in?
you think it would be on the aspect ratio? the files were originally a 4:3 full screen which is the same as my TV and PC monitor shoudl I try it using widescreen?
forgot to add on the menu - the selecting cursor doesnt line up to the text on the screen like it all got stretched too tall
