When backing up dvds that I already own, the copies don't play well on any dvd players. There is some sort of distortion and/or the movie seems to stop for a couple of seconds. I am not sure what the problem is. My computer is a dell Pentium IV at 2.5 mHz with 512mb of ddr memory. I have both a teac dvd/cd-rw & samsung dvd-rom. Then media being used is Verbatim DVD+R. The durning software is DVD Copyware 3.0.
The fiorst obvious suggestion I would make is try alternative media. See what media suits your DVD Player best. You can also check if anyone made similar comments here - http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers Other problems may of course include the burning process itself but by the looks of it, everything should be ok!
