Playing a -R on a +R burner

    I realize you can't use a +R burner to burn to -R DVDs. But, can you use a +R burner to copy a movie that was recorded on a -R DVD to copy from the -R to a +R disk?

    The answer is yes. The burner will simply read from the other disc in the other drive regardless of the discs format.
