Playing AVI files on dvd player

    Hi. Just wondering is there a way to play avi files on a normal dvd player that plays, dvd-r, vcd, mp3 and the usual formats? let me know, thanks

    i would like to do this without converting the avi files. i know the ps2 has some media player that helps them play avi files, just wondering if there was something like that for normal dvd players. thanks
