playing backup dvd's on ps2

i noticed today, that i can't play my backed up dvd's on my PS2, has anyone else had or have this problem??

 

What type (+ or -) and what brand of disc are you using for your backups?

i am using FUJIFILM DVD-R

and by the looks of things from the website you posted, this dvd is pretty shit.

 

was reading that web site, and lots of different types of dvd's. Found some that looked pretty good.

what would u suggest for ps2 and dvd backups??
