playing backup psx-cd problem

    I made backup from my original psx cd (resident evil-3) nemesis.I am playing that cd on my PC using EPSX-emulator and I am not having problems,but when I try to use to play on my PSX(Modified)the game freez. First boot,opening screen appear:"the game contains scenes of explicit violence and gore....." and then the game freez. Does anybody know what is the problem?
    I used Alcohol 120% to burn this cd.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    not 100% on this(its going back some time)but seem to remember somthing about that game having some anti mod chip protection
