Playing DVD Movie Backup on PS2

    Am I the only person that cannot play a DVD movie backup on my PS2?
    I can backup my DVD and play it on my DVD player. I can backup my PS2 game and play it on my PS2. But I cannot get the PS2 to play the DVD backup. I am using the same media for games and movies. Any ideas?

    What dvd player can you play backup movies on, the burner? Secondly, what do you use to copy movies?

    What version of PS2? Version 4 and below may not play some back-up DVD's.

    I have a PS2 v2 and it plays DVD-R....

    Yeah, mostly all versions will play DVD-R (some dont for strange reasons according to their owners??) but only version 4 or later will play +R (version 4 can struggle a bit with +R though)
