I recently bought a new DVD burner and NERO came with it. I installed all the software suite I was supposed to which is NERO 6. My problem is everytime I try to play a DVD on the media player of NERO's it gives me a warning box saying that, "Nero is unable to play the dvd because of another program running a playback or in pause mode." I am so fruxtrated by this! I don't have any other programs, running at this time so I'm just stuck as to what it is referring to. Someone please help me.
You possibly have Nero's INCD installed - this is packet writing software that continually runs in the background and can interfere with other software. If this is the case, you need to disable or uninstall INCD.
I'm kinda new to the process. How would I find and uninstall this INCD program? It was not under programs
Try the add/remove programs button in Control Panel. If it is on your computer it will be listed here.
