Hi, I've heard that Nntendo DS games bought in America will play on a Nintendo DS Lite bought in the UK, even though Nintendo's own site says they won't, can anyone confirm they can be played please, thanks
Yes they will work as the DS is region free. Could you link me to where it says they won't on the Nintendo website? I remember when I got my original DS VIP pack and it came with a "pre-release" version of Super Mario 64 DS, that was just a USA version.
Thanks mr_hanky, they don't go as far as saying they 'don't' work, they say they are 'not designed for use' on other countries consoles. Heres the link its a US site but it seems to be aimed at everyone. Thanks again
That page is basically for all Nintendo products, so it will be taking into account things like the Gamecube and Wii which are not region free (well I assume the Wii isn't region free). Still if your not sure it's always good to ask
