I know the DS can play music and video once you have the right hardware, but how are the quality for these two things? And how hard/time consuming is it to convert video to the necessary format?

    Thanks

I have never done any MP3s or Video on the DS, but I had a flash cart for my GBA. The video quality was not so good, but the mp3s sounded fine as long as you encoded them at a high bitrate. One the GBA it wasn't too hard to convert video files to .gba files, if anything it has probably gotten easier. Also, with most of the carts using much larger cards for storage, the video quality might not be too bad.

It shouldn't be too bad. I'll probably post about it in the EZIV Lite topic once I get it in the next few days. Shipped from China yesterday, and it's in Arkansas now. It's UPS Express, so it shouldn't be too much longer.
