Well, I actually burned few of my dvd rips using Nero to check it out on my DVD player. The videos which were in .avi format worked smoothly without any glitch but the player is not showing the videos of .mp4 format and .mkv format. Will I have to convert these videos in avi format using DivX converter available on DivX site? And certainly, if I'll have to, the procedure of conversion will take lot of time. Please enlighten me how to pave the way of mp4 and mkv format on DVD player. -Ankur
Yes, you have to re-encode to AVI using Divx/xvid. As for converter choice, you can use any of the multitude of free ones available.Never used the converter available on the Divx site, but should work.Other alternatives are Any Video Converter, StaxRip, , Super, Xvid4PSP http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/ http://www.videohelp.com/tools/XviD4PSP
