    Hello,

I have ripped a copy of a movie that I own, Mars Attacks, I understand that I must insert the DVD, play part of the DVD, for it to reconize the region code. I have also successfully copied the movie, and made it into an ISO. I used DVD Decrypter to decrypt the DVD, and DVD2One to copy the movie. I ripped out all the Extras, Menus, and kept the Chapters. After burning it, It will work 100% on my Windows Box, but when I take it to my Mac Box, It will not play. I have Set the Region to Region 0, and still not luck, I have also tried using the DVD Player software supplied with the MAC, and VLC (Video Lan Client) and No Luck .... Does anyone have any fixes for my Mac computer... I'm running 10.3 with latest patches. ... Thank you all for your help...

Also, This question is in regards to how the movie was copied, and if there was a setting that I missed, due to the playback issue.

What kind of media are you using?
Video is only recognized on DVD-R media.

This is not necessarily true. My ibook G3 900 will recognize video that I burn on DVD+RW media. Hades and DVD2One are my weapons of choice and I generally have no probs.

Is your OS Panther? If so what is the DVD brand you are using?

    Londor,

    Ibook G3 900,Panther,640 MB
    Rip with Hades
    Process with DVD2OneX
Burn with Toast Titanium onto an external firewire HP DVD+R burner onto Ritek DVD+RW media.
A DVD made like this plays back on my Ibook in the combo drive, as well as any other standalone DVD player I have tried.
