    Hi,

Ive just bought a Phillips DVDR3380/05. It records off the TV fine! However if I try to view the recorded disk on my PC, it doesn't recognise it! Is there anything I can get (download) for me to view these disks?
I also have a Phillips DVD (MX3800D) player that won't read these recorded disks, which I thought was strange being that the're both Phillips!
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    Dave

Make sure you are finalizing the discs. Not only do discs finalize each time you stop recording, but they (usually only for non-rewritables) need to be finalized when you are done recording to disc and want to be able to play it in another machine. Otherwise, it remains "open" for further recording, even if it's full.
