playing svcd's on my computer

    can anyone please tell me how to get svcd's to play on my computer? i have already downloaded win media palyer 9 and updated my codec (stinky mpeg2) but still no results, im running XP 1.4 ghz p4 and have no problems playing dvd's and mpegs. any help would be appreciated

    I would ask you what Codecs you have but try getting a hold of BS Player. There are various ways of getting it so I will leave that to your imagination...

    BS player doesn't seem to interfere with my video programs like other players I have had before and it has never given me problems with playing my SVCDs.

    I am sure Dela will be right behind me with more software ideas but until then see if that works!

    Have you tried WinDVD?? I find it great for vcd/svcd/dvd playback!
