plays once, but doesn't play again

    I'm new to the whole dvd copying, so bear with me.I copied a few DVDs without any problems. I watched them once entirely but once I tried to play them again, the disc was unreadable on my DVD player and PS2. I have Clonedvd2 and Anydvd and I use Imation DVD+R 4x discs. If it is the discs, I bought some new Memorex discs, which I do not know if it is any better. Can anyone help me out? Thanks ahead of time.

    1. Model of DVD drive?
    2. Might overheating be an issue?
    3. Whe you say "doesnt play again", do you mean EVER, or do you have to reboot or something...

    The model of the DVD drive is Sony DW-U14A 4-X DVD±RW±R,Black. I do not have problems with overheating, I believe. The DVD does not play anytime after its first use. I try putting it into the DVD player, but it unable to read. Any ideas on other programs that work fine, or ways to get by this problem? Thanks.

    Seems perhaps the laser is becoming "active" during playback?? Look for a firmware update perhaps?
