Hi guys i have the Sony Ericsson K608i and i was wondering if i could make the sound of my mp3's on my phone louder. I encoded the mp3's to a higher bite rite but still no use and i can only fit about 6 songs on a 30mb phone what bit rate should i rencode it to make the qiuly still goood and not bad Thankz Very Much In advance
I have the K750 with MP3s. The bit rate affects the quality and therefore file size. It does not alter the apmplitude (volume). What I do is load the MP3 into Audacity and increase the volume there. Resave the file and transfer it back onto the phone. Audacity is absolutley brilliant. It does loads of other stuff as well and it is free under the GNU General Public License (GPL). You can download it at: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
thankz alot very man i already have a Audacity i'm such as idiot i didnt think of it before. Also is there a way of making the mp3 louder without any distortion, raiseing the volume make alot of distortion!!!
I think you may have over increased it. When you play/alter the volume of the MP3 in audacity, the two volume bars that move should stay in the green band. Thats all that I can think of at the moment. If you still have problems, you could send me the file, and I'll see what I can do with it if you want. If you agree, I'll give you my address.
so if i put an mp3 into audocity, then turn the volume up there let the song play through then save it, will it be louder when i put it onto my phone ?
It should do. Works for me. Play the file after you have increased it. The moving bars should still be in the green.
