Ok, so I have experience in flashing an xbox 360 through an SATA cord and I have heard that this technique was also possible with an xbox samsung drive. I have backed up my xbox games, though all of my discs have gotten scratched and do not play anymore. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I could go about flashing my samsung drive with SATA. I was not able to find any instructions, only for xbox 360 samsung drives.

you what?.. there is no reason to attempt to flash an old xbox drive.. unless you are trying to mod a 616t (which is more expensive than buying another old xbox)

You will not find a sata drive which will run with a 605b firmware, but you can have lots of fun wasting time and money making total bricks. That's why there are no guides.. because it can't be done.

creakster.. this isn't a 360 topic.. I think nubbins thinks flashing a kreon firmware to a stock xbox drive will play copies.. or something.. it's related to the 616t mods from years ago XD
