Please Help in Unlocking Nokia 6030 b for Hong Kong

    This is a brand new phone right out of a box without a sim card. I am traveling to Hong Kong for 1 week. I plan on buying a sim card in Hong Kong. I leave for Hong Kong tomorrow Nov. 29. Please help me in unlocking this phone. Thank you

    Can not unlock RM-225 type. Call your provider for the code and explain the situation. Phone most likely will not work in Hong Kong due to frequency incompatibility.

    My phone provider is Verizon but I won this phone in a promotion and never opened until now so I am not a Cingular customer, can I still call them for a code?

    Doubtful but you can have it directly unlock. Again, Hong Kong does not use the frequency needed for that model from the US.
