Had a surf through Symantecs net nasties and found this. Symantec.com > Security Response > Trojan.Anserin. Trojan.Anserin. ... Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as Trojan.Anserin. ... Symanrec suggests this method for it's REMOVAL. Good luck. Cheers.
Hi Cheers Thank you for the advice, I've run a full scan a couple of times last week but Symantec didn't find anything so I assumed it was/is dormant for a while. I'll scan again tonight and see what happedns /tinna
Tried to scan as suggested by Cheers but ran into unexpected problems with Symantec, it could not scan (error message) So I removed it and installed it again. After this it found Dc2.exe which is now successfully quarantined. Hopefully this was it. Shall I just delete it from quarantine? tinna
Hi Tinna You can call me anything you like, but don't call me late for dinner....LOL If It was my rig, and knew what was quaratined, I'd probably chuck it. Salutations.
