i own a sony dcr-trv245e digital 8 handy cam i wish to edit my home movie on my pc but it wont recognise it. please help me find a driver i have searched the net and could find nothing i am running win xp
Door: It might not be a driver issue, Have you tried going with a video capture unit? via USB 2.0 port, there are some low priced units(under30bucks) that you can transfer video to the computer and edit and write to dvd, vcd or svcd.(Cyberlink,Ulead)I have both Sony and Canon video cameras and use this setup and get respectable results. But if you are trying to hookup dv to the computer maybe somebody else on the board can help. I have not been able to get this to work on my end also. Good luck Brent
