Hi all, Please can anybody assist me. I have a sony vaio desktop with a radeon x600xt and a sony tv. I have connected my pc to my sony tv using s-video lead, however when I go to the display tab of the ATI admin area I get "Not Connected" for the TV connect flag. Ive tried upgrading graphics drivers but nothing. Does anybody know how i can get my pc to detect my tv? Please note that using the same s-video cable and tv with my old graphics card worked fine. Cheers Costas
I had the same problem a couple of years ago. Nothing worked until I tried a program called TV Tool (http://tvtool.info/index_e.htm). It forces the card to recognise the TV. Now I know it supports most NVidia cards but I'm not sure what support it has for other makes.
I have a ATI all in wonder, multiple monitors. I go to start, settings, dtsplay. Decide primary/secondary, resolution etc. You can use your TV/monitor as a display as well as your PC. Don't forget to check your audio settings. You can record on your VCR, or record to a CD recorder.
