PLEASE HELP ME! PROBLEM FTP'N XBOX, "Connection failed (No route to Host)"

    iT DOESNT EVEN TRY TO CONNECT IT JUST SAYS

    Connection failed (No route to Host)

    am i doing something wrong?

    isnt a crossover cable the same as a regular ethernet cable?

    here are my settings:

    XBOX
    Setup Network: Yes
    use static IP: yes
    IP: 192.168.0.3
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Default gateway:
    DNS1: 192.168.0.4 (same as PC ip add)


    PC
    IP: 192.168.0.4
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    DNS:


    Isnt the xbox supposed to be on? when trying to FTP? its on, it aint still working, please what I am Doing wrong!!!!!!!

    and under the xbox setting menu it says "Line Status: NO link!"

    whats wrong!!!!

    On Xbox settings, Don't use DNS. So copy that number and put int Gateway

    XBOX
    Setup Network: Yes

    how do you connect xbox to pc? Crossover cable is way different from regular cable although outside they look the same.

    ok, thereturn, I am having same problem, connection failed(no route to host) I have a cat5e crossover cable, 100ft, when I have my ethernet cable in my computer for my internet there is a green light on when I insert the ethernet cable, now when I insert the crossover cable in the same spot to connect to my xbox no green light, my settings are
    xbox
    ip 192.168.1.10
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.1.11
    dns blank

    computer
    ip 192.168.1.11
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    gateway blank
    dns blank

    I have avalaunch as my dashboard, the settings are the same on it and config live, I have evolution x as an application on e, do i need to change the settings on it to the same as well, I have been working on this for a while, please help
