Hey guys, I'm a noob, obviously. Other than that I'm fairly computer iliterate so... I'm just starting to burn avi's to dvd's (yay!) so I'm not 100% on everything yet. I used gwendolin's guide (GREAT guide, thank you so much ) and burned a movie. It came out almost PERFECTLY, but unfortunetly the sound is off 1 or 2 seconds, which I can't live with, nothing pisses me off more. Can somebody tell me why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? If you could keep it as blonde as possible, that'd be awesome. Thanks in advance!
Hi kawee Audio out of sync is a pretty common thing w/ Nero 7 anymore. Which version are you using? Like 7.9.6.0 or 6.6.0.18. But check the avi first and make sure all ok there just in case not a Nero thing - you can play it w/ VLC if you need one. If your using Nero 7 here are some fixes on the audio bit - link. Check out sonnet79's or alkohols. Or use another program to convert then burn w/ Nero Burning Rom or Express. Here's a free one - DivXtoDVD. Set the standard to your tv format - PAL Europe etc, NTSC - US, Canada. D Save it to your hard drive. Play it from there and if all ok burn w/ Nero.
Thanks so much for all your suggestions! I burned the movie again along with 2 others and they're both flawless. Thanks again! <3
