Please help me unlock Nokia 1600, 7-11 Speakout USA

    Hi guys..

    can someone please help me unlock my Nokia 1600? It is on the 7-11 Speakout network in the US.

    IMEI: 010972/00/189268/4

    ive tried "negotiating" with the carrier, but they will not budge on the unlock. ive searched around the net,,,and have not had luck...until i found this site. it looks a bunch of you guys really know your stuff.

    Woops...sorry about the slashes in the IMEI, and also i forgot the 'b' in the model number...

    i just noticed that the title of that thread indicated that the phones and carrier mentioned cannot be unlocked online. would i be correct to assume then that the professional down at my local phone shop can unlock it for me?
