Hello all I'm still new to this site (2 days now).I really need you guys help.I'm in the process of building a computer.I have a Athlon xp 2800+ cpu,300 GB HD,512MB AND 4 OPTICAL DRIVES.I've been using Ritek 4x DVD+R/RW discs which I buy from Meritline.I just bought(for the first time)the 8x DVD+R disc from Meritline.I need help picking dual format 8x DVD burners for my optical drives.The one I have now(still in the box)is the TDK a1280.I don't want to change my DVD media because the Ritek disc work in my existing computers,PS2,and all my DVD players.I've checked with manufacturers(Pioneer,TDK,SONY,HP,Plextor) to see if their burners were compatable with the 8x Ritek DVD+R media.That didn't help though. I called Meritline, they recomemended the Pioneer A07, and the NEC 2500.Please give me some input.I would like to finish the computer by 07/04/2004.My wife is tired of seeing all this computer equiptment around the bedroom.
