PLEASE HELP ME!!

    Hi, i went and bought aoe3 yesterday (great game) but when i play for a few minutes everything jus freezes can u please help i got a AMD 64bit 3000+ Socket 939, 1024Mb DDR Ram PC3200, ATI 9600 Pro 256Mb Video Card and it still freezes. Do you think its because my screen is old?

    My screen is one of them really old ones

    if you mean your monitor no it won't be that. it's probably your video drivers..

    my video drive is ATI 9600 Pro 256Mb Video Card and all u need to play aoe3 is A 64 MB video card

    Creaky meant drivers for your card, you need to get ATi catalyst drivers, Guru3d.com is the place to go;

    You may need to download a few versions to try, I would steer clear of beta drivers, I would recommend certified ones only.

    The card you have is not overly powerful, it is an old card, older drivers may be the key. So even with the best drivers installed, you will not be able to play top games at high settings.
