Please help me , im enuf doing coasters. what do these errors reffer to and how can i get rid of them .....
Thanx But im already up to date with the firmware version 1.06 , tryied burning at different speeds also no luck, Any other workarounds ?
Yes actually i did 2 burns 1 with 1.05 and another with 1.06 ( forgot to upload the log ). Nothing worked. So the workaround is to use write to disk feature from nero and then burn that image file using Write image file to disk in IMGBurn ? Any Recommendations regarding the settings in IMGBurn before i do the burn write type ? Auto ? write mode ? DAO / SAO How do i change the booktype to DVD-RAM
BTW when i inserted an empty Verbatim DVD using IMGBurn i got the following data on the left side ======================================================= HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H55N 1.06 (ATA) Current Profile: DVD+R Disc Information: Status: Empty Erasable: No Free Sectors: 2,295,104 Free Space: 4,700,372,992 bytes Free Time: 510:03:29 (MM:SS:FF) Supported Write Speeds: 4x, 8x, 12x, 16x, 18x, 20x Physical Format Information (ADIP): Disc ID: MCC-004-00 Book Type: DVD+R Part Version: 1 Disc Size: 120mm Maximum Read Rate: Not Specified Number of Layers: 1 Track Path: Parallel Track Path (PTP) Linear Density: 0.267 um/bit Track Density: 0.74 um/track First Physical Sector of Data Area: 196,608 Last Physical Sector of Data Area: 2,491,711 Last Physical Sector in Layer 0: 0 Physical Format Information (Last Recorded): Disc ID: MCC-004-00 Book Type: DVD+R Part Version: 1 Disc Size: 120mm Maximum Read Rate: Not Specified Number of Layers: 1 Track Path: Parallel Track Path (PTP) Linear Density: 0.267 um/bit Track Density: 0.74 um/track First Physical Sector of Data Area: 196,608 Last Physical Sector of Data Area: 2,491,711 Last Physical Sector in Layer 0: 0 Performance (Write Speed): Descriptor 1... -> B0: 0x00, B1: 0x00, B2: 0x00, B3: 0x00 -> EL: 4294967295 (0xFFFFFFFF) -> RS: 11,080 KB/s (8x) - WS: 5,540 KB/s (4x) Descriptor 2... -> B0: 0x00, B1: 0x00, B2: 0x00, B3: 0x00 -> EL: 4294967295 (0xFFFFFFFF) -> RS: 11,080 KB/s (8x) - WS: 11,080 KB/s (8x) Descriptor 3... -> B0: 0x00, B1: 0x00, B2: 0x00, B3: 0x00 -> EL: 4294967295 (0xFFFFFFFF) -> RS: 11,080 KB/s (8x) - WS: 16,620 KB/s (12x) Descriptor 4... -> B0: 0x00, B1: 0x00, B2: 0x00, B3: 0x00 -> EL: 4294967295 (0xFFFFFFFF) -> RS: 11,080 KB/s (8x) - WS: 22,160 KB/s (16x) Descriptor 5... -> B0: 0x00, B1: 0x00, B2: 0x00, B3: 0x00 -> EL: 4294967295 (0xFFFFFFFF) -> RS: 11,080 KB/s (8x) - WS: 24,930 KB/s (18x) Descriptor 6... -> B0: 0x00, B1: 0x00, B2: 0x00, B3: 0x00 -> EL: 4294967295 (0xFFFFFFFF) -> RS: 11,080 KB/s (8x) - WS: 27,700 KB/s (20x) ==================================

1st i would like to thank you again for your continued support. It sounds Odd,The dvd im trying to burn is Verbatim.Ive Burnt a Verbatim Earlier (1 Week Ago) using the same procedure & Program And it works untill today. If i ejected that Working Verbatim DVD + R 16 X ( Working Copy ) from my car; Is there any software that would let me know the reason why it worked ? The burning process & the important things that let that DVD only work and not the other ?? * Do i need MediaCodeSpeedEdit & DVD Identifier to re-renter the media type , etc ? ( Or that has to do with writing speeds only ).
Do you have any documentation on your car player? If not, maybe you can find it online and see if it states what it can player. I have a pretty old portable DVD player that will only play commercial discs.
No documentation. I tried another workaround and it WORKED ! I burt an NRG file using Nero Image Recorder. I used: 1.Daemon 347 I mounted the disc copy image, all emulations ON. 2.CLONE CD 5.3.1.3 to make a disc copy. Source disc is the virtual unit (daemon unit), and set the copy "on the fly". 3.Writing Speed 12x DVD worked in my car perfectlly !! This Time i used Imation DVD+R ------------------------------------------------------------------ Im still Confused , I still have a working Copy of Verbatim DVD + R in my car with the help of nero from A-Z. Now whenever i try to follow the same previous procedure the dvd will just spin or stop spinning but nothing works ! its ODD ! Could anyone tell me what are the reasons behind this ?
I tried: 1)Verbatim DVD + R 16X with the following speeds: 2x-2.4x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 16x, MAX 2)Imation DVD + R 16X with the following speeds: 2x-2.4x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 10X, 12X, 16X, MAX The project is around 3GB the only thing that worked is Verbatim MAX but not anymore It only worked when i first inserted the DVD to the car, Now every 10-20 inserts it may work once and many pauses are detected and suddenly it freezes *Note i still have a working verbatim with the same project and works perfectlly everytime i eject & Insert.
