Another problem i came over is in my secondary IDE-Channel. The DMA of the first device (device: 0) is set to "Ultra-DMA Mode 2" and the other is not possible, not even PIO.
I uninstalled the secondary IDE CHannel in order to get back to DMA 5 but it never happened again. I usually fixed it that way in the past.
I only got one DVD-burner, which is set to master (jumper) so i do not know weather my burner is DMA 2 or "not possible"

I hope you understand my english expressions. I speak german and so does my system. I hope i could translate everything well.

    Please help me

    1) Edit out your serial #, It goes like this:
    1A23-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
use the icon of a pencil and eraser at top/right corner of your original post.

    2)Memory in use : 61 %

Close out all background programs while you rip/encode/and burn dvds.

    3)This is probably the bugger:
    [bold]Last address to be written: 2288713 (508:36.13, 4470MB)[/bold]

Reduce that target to 4360 mbs.Keeps the burn from reaching the outer edge.

    4)[bold]Recorder: <TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552B>Version: TS10 [/bold]
Look for the latest firmware update for this burner.

    5) [bold]Burn process failed at 8x (11.080 KB/s)[/bold]
Keep burn speed at 4x or lower till you get her straightened out.

Ritek g05 is pretty good media.Reduce that backup target/keep burn speed at 4x/and shut down all background programs. Go to the burner's manufacturers website to find latest firmware update.

    1) thanks, i didn't recognize

    3) Where can i reduce that target? is it in dvdshrink's properties or in nero's? i couldnt find it

    4) i installed the latest firmware, before Version: TS10 i had Version: TS04. I think it is the latest.

    alright, I'll have another try

    thanks a lot

I'm not familiar with that drive so your firmware should be ok.

Reduce that backup target. If you have dvd shrink:
    Open up dvd shrink
    Edit
    Preferences
    Click dvd-5/scroll till custom/enter 4360/click OK.

If using a different program,I'm not sure how you set the target on anything else.
