    Hi all

I have a 6230i from Ireland locked to the o2 network there.
    My IMEI is 353236011660566

I surfed about and tried an unlock code generator site and used the first code but it didn't work and I'm unsure about trying anymore without some advice from those here who are WAY more skilled at the job than I am!

    Can anyone help me please?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
    2. Press the UNDO option
    3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
    4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

    Hi pazzini

First off, many thanks for the help.

That code you have given is the code I first tried.
What's more, I tried inserting what I assumed to be a non accepted sim and found that it works. The weird thing is that I can make an outgoing call but not receive one on this new phone I got today and THAT really confuses me!

I haven't tried entering the code again, what do you think I should do?

Again, your assitance is greatly appreciated.

    Regards

    Hey again,

I reset the phone to default options and it seems to have fixed itself now.

Don't quite know what to say but I think the code might have actually worked first time off.

    Thanks again!
