PLEASE HELP: Using nero 8 recode burn option disappears?

Hello all, I have a problem that has been driving me insane!! I have been using Nero Recode to back-up my movies. What happens is it works fine for 4 to 5 burns then the burn option just disappears. I end up having to either do an uninstall & reinstall of Nero, or do a system restore on my pc. when using the nero recode option it is done in 2 steps. The 1st is encoding, then after that, the program asks for an empty disc, you put it in & it burns a perfect movie. When the program screws up it will do the encoding, but then it will not ask for an empty disc, it will just ask me if i want to save the files, with no option to burn. I have e-mailed Nero, but have not gotten a response as of yet. Has anyone had this issue. More importantly does anyone know how to rectify this problem? Thanks in Advance!!!
