Please help with a problem installing a game

    Hi everyone i'm trying to install a game to my computer and i'm getting an error message half way through.
    The error i'm getting is

    "feature transfer error"
    Feature: NewFeature1
    Component: Tracks
    File: D:\Data2.cab
    Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

    Can anyone please help me with this???

    It usually means that there is something wrong with the disc. Is it the orignal disc, or a copy?

    It could also be due to an old nacked optical drive. (Had this problem two years ago with my really old DVD-ROM drive)

    i get the error or something similar when my games are all scratched up...............use isobuster to recover the data then reburn or mount your game (you dont have to) and reinstall:)
