my daughter has a DSTT card she bought on holiday with a few games installed. these stopped working soon after arriving back home and just the word MENU appears on screen and nothing else happens. someone told me to format the card and download new software. i tried a full format (using windows vista) and when its done i get the message.. WINDOWS WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE FORMAT. so i clicked the QUICK FORMAT button and that seemed to work. now i need to know which soft/firmware to download from the DSTT website and how to apply it to the card. thanks in advance
you can find the files you need here mate - ( TTMenu OS v1.10, 2008-03-31 ) http://www.ndstt.com/english/download_en.htm English version! once downloaded , unrar it and copy the TTMenu folder and TTMENU file to your memory card . thats it mate job done , now you can add your games to your memory card and play . anymore questions just let me know , woof811.
thanks woof811, i downloaded the above file, unrared it, copy & pasted both files to the SD card. i also created a new folder titled games and put her games in there. when we switch on the DS, there is a screen showing a red memory card saying ERROR! can you or someone help further please?
is the error like the screen in this forum ? - http://www.sgclub.com/singapore/need_some_help_57618.html if so it could be the memory card , could you try another memory card to see if that works ? i suspect that it probably is your memory card either playing up or broken , as you said in an earlier post that you had trouble formatting it . possibly try formatting the memory card again ( not a quick format ), if you cant , try formatting it in a mobile phone or digital camera ! if none of that works i suspect a new memory card will solve your problems , let me know how you get on , woof811.
hey woof!.. your a genius mate! tried full format again.. no joy. formatted in phone then when i put in the computer it said this card needs to be formatted, so i tried full format again and...success! put files back on and a few games... it works fine. you made a little girl, and her dad....very happy! thanks again mate
